Vanderbilt CPAs is excited to announce Carmine Lepiane as our newest shareholder and Chief Operating Officer!

Carmine truly fell in love with tax at Vanderbilt CPAs and has been vital in the growth and success of the firm since he joined this dynamic team in 2014. From his first day he has worked hands on with clients and team members to meet deadlines, exceed expectations and consistently demonstrates leadership, strategic decision-making, and a commitment to drive deliverables for our clients. His clients often sing his praise for an exceptional eye to detail and witty sense of humor that helps him to communicate even the most complex of tax scenarios.

In 2021 he earned his Master of Taxation from Golden Gate University and specializes in the income taxation opportunities and challenges that face individual taxpayers, small to midsize businesses, and trusts.

Along with tax, community is deeply important to Carmine. He works with local non-profits dedicating his time and expertise to worthy causes throughout the Monterey Peninsula and while pursuing his undergraduate degree he participated in the Volunteer Income Tax Preparation Program sponsored by the United Way.

In 2011 he began his career in tax and accounting while attending California State University Monterey Bay. In 2013 he graduated Cum Laude earning his Bachelor of Science degree with a major in accounting and continued his educational path by obtaining his CPA license from the California Board of Accountancy in 2018.

With Carmine’s influence and leadership Vanderbilt CPAs is poised for continued growth and excellent service to our clients.
