Jan is a woman of vision. She has been a trusted advisor on the Monterey Peninsula for over 30 years. Her public accounting experience includes tax planning and consultation for individuals, businesses and trusts, and the preparation of individual, business, nonprofit, and pension/profit sharing tax returns.

Jan’s passions extend beyond the office and into every facet of her life. Outside our four walls, you’ll find Jan an adventurer and a dog lover. Her outdoor passions include kayaking, hiking, whitewater rafting, and skiing. She loves to travel, the farther afield the better, and particularly enjoys learning some of the local language in advance of a trip.
Jan is dedicated to our community, and honored to serve on the Boards of the Monterey Peninsula College Foundation, the Community Foundation for Monterey County, and the CPE Forum of the Central Coast.×
Tom has been involved in public accounting for over 30 years. He has worked with a variety of large and small clients, providing tax planning as well as preparation of individual, business, and trust returns. He holds a wealth of knowledge about tax matters, and has published tax articles in local publications.

Piper has been working with Jan since she began her accounting career in 2004. Piper provides full charge bookkeeping services, financial analysis, budget preparation, bill pay services, and assists our non-profit clients with audit preparation.

Anyone who meets Piper can’t help but fall in love with her comforting personality and genuine character. Piper’s passions include running, camping, hiking, and spending time with her horse in Carmel Valley. Piper is also Treasurer on the board of the Ventana Wildlife Society.×
Carmine has been working with Vanderbilt CPAs for five years and in that time he has obtained valuable experience in the preparation of individual, trust and business tax returns along with becoming proficient with accounting and general ledger skills. He graduated cum laude with distinction from California State University, Monterey Bay and is currently pursuing a master’s degree from Golden Gate University in the field of taxation. Kyle earned the title of Organizer Extraordinaire by bravely joining our team during the hurricane, otherwise known as: The Final Week of Tax Season. Her current focus is bill pay, and assisting with implementation of a paperless accounting department. Much to Piper’s delight, Kyle has made our files “a thing of beauty.” Kyle is also one of our creative minds on the team, she has led the design of our yearly holiday card and was instrumental in us winning the “Best Table Design” at the 2016 annual Business Excellence Awards dinner.Click Here To Learn More About Kyle
If you spend a little bit of time with Kyle, you will soon discover that she is passionate about quilting, gardening and fiber art. She also loves to cook and promises to bring in a fabulous example of her culinary skills. She is a life-long resident of the Peninsula, and is what we call a “water dog”; if it flows, she goes! You can find Kyle and family down at the river on a sunny weekend day.×
Monica has spent her career dedicated to the accounting profession. Her early years were spent in the corporate world. While working with the outside auditors and tax accountants, she realized her real desire to become a CPA. For more than 30 years, she has been working in public accounting, providing tax planning, preparation and representation, accounting, auditing, and consulting services to individuals, not-for-profit organizations, businesses, trusts and estates. Stiggy has been with us since 2017 and has since grown into a multi-functional member of this team. From shredding papers to greeting clients and keeping stress levels down during the busy season Stiggy has proven that even the smallest, furriest team members can make a great impact on the team. Stiggy enjoys snuggling with his family on the couch after a romp on Asilomar beach or walk around town. He also enjoys getting together with his furry friends and causing mischief around Pacific Grove and Carmel.
